STROKE OF THE HEART ® Greeting Card Company was founded in 1983, by a registered nurse. Kevyn Riley, also a registered nurse and co-owner since 1986, still continues to enjoy her role as a consultant to the creative staff. Having worked with seriously ill children as an R.N. and a cancer survivor herself, Kevyn has created a card line with simple, heartfelt sentiments. These experiences are reflected in our strong line of Sympathy, Serious Illness, Get Well and Encouragement/Cope categories.

From the beginning, all of our cards have been printed on recycled paper, which now has a minimum of 30% post consumer content with the exception of the Premier Designs. Additionally, all products have been printed with vegetable-base ink and have been shipped with recycled packing products and boxes.

You will notice a large number of pet specific, best selling designs throughout this catalog. PAWS TO REMEMBER, a division of STROKE OF THE HEART, offers pet sympathy products that fill a unique niche in both our Everyday Greeting Card Line and in the Animal Care Industry.
